Guidelines to write and to submit the Thiesel 2010 papers

Deadlines

Please, keep in mind 2 major and imperative deadlines:

5th March 2010: deadline for submitting your rough manuscript

18th June 2010: deadline for submitting your final manuscript

In order to carry out the reviewing process of all papers, all the authors of the accepted abstracts must submit a rough manuscript of the paper by 5th March 2010. It will then be sent to reviewers for their consideration and comments.

The reviewers’ suggestions will be sent to you as soon as we receive them, at the latest by early May 2010. In this way, the authors will have enough time to prepare the final paper taking into account the reviewers’ suggestions.

The final manuscript should be submitted at the latest by 18th June 2010. This is imperative, as we will not be able to include it in the Conference Proceedings if the documents are not delivered in time for publication.

Preparation of the paper

To make easier the writing of the document, you can find a sample of Word document (THIESEL2010-template) with the format we require for publication in the Proceedings. Please use this as a base for the manuscript. In it you will find illustrations and examples of headings, figure legends, equations, etc…. We hope it will facilitate your work when writing your paper and it will certainly facilitate ours in obtaining a uniform, clear and nice publication.

The document ‘THIESEL2010-template is in principle usable as it is. Should you have any problems with it, do not hesitate in contacting us immediately. We will do our best to provide you with a formatted version you can read and use.

There are in principle no restrictions on the length of the papers, though an extension of between 6 and 12 pages in A4 paper according the sampled template is recommended.

An electronic version in MS Word format, should be submitted to the Conference Secretariat. Electronic versions may be sent either by e-mail or CD Rom by regular mail.

Additional requirements

When you submit your rough paper, please provide full addresses with telephone and e-mails of all authors, in particular of the corresponding author. If possible, let us know at the same time which person will be the presenting author, so we can prepare the provisional programme of the Conference.
