Exhaust gas after-treatment systems

Analysis and implementation of ATS in new generation propulsion systems

Introduction

This line of research deals with the development and analysis of exhaust gas after-treatment systems for new generation engines. Through the combination of experimental and computational techniques, the ability to identify and understand the reaction mechanisms that govern the performance of these systems is available by developing physicalsmall-scale chemicals and designing optimal post-treatment system architectures and control strategies.
