Internal Aerodynamics
Introduction
This Group develops applied research on internal aerodynamics of flow systems. The main focus is on highly transient compressible flows by means of modeling and experiments on flow test rigs. Applications are the analysis and synthesis of gas-exchange and turbocharging of internal combustion engines, internal flow in turbomachinery, energy and cooling cycles, etc.
